Join us for lunch! Our member luncheons offer great networking, an opportunity to make with new business connections and catch up with other. Each luncheon has a different guest speaker to help keep our members up-to-date on the local community, business hot topics, statewide information and much more.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we invite you to join us for a discussion about Mental Health First Aid with Erica Hughes, LMFT, SAP - owner of Active Resolution Counseling, LLC as she he helps us to recognize when a co-worker, family, friend, or yourself might need support.
Mental Health Crisis in the Workplace
In a world where mental health affects 1 in 5 Americans, the workplace should be an important place to recognize mental health symptoms, break down the stigma and promote a healthy environment. We do spend a majority of our day behind that desk or with our coworkers.
We will be identifying and looking at the prevalence of mental health in America, specifically the workplace. We will look at de-escalation techniques to utilize when in the workplace and how to promote a safe and healthy work environment. We learn CPR and the Heimlich, and now we can learn how to help someone in a crisis.
Pre-Registration is required, as we have to get numbers to the caterer in advance. The deadline to register is 9:00 am on the Monday prior to lunch.
