Pasta in the Park

On August 23rd, TESSA’s Pasta in the Park will bring together hundreds of supporters on the Myron Stratton campus to eat, drink, socialize, and most importantly, support a worthy cause. Our theme this year is “A Story in Bloom” focusing on how we support survivors to transcend the previous traumatic chapters of their lives and allow their new lives to bloom. Visually, the décor will include whimsical florals, old books, etc. We’ll be allowing survivors to share their stories of growth by reading from books on stage, or having their stories read by a friend/family member or a TESSA advocate. We’ll encourage cook-off teams to find literary inspiration for their table decorations and pasta sauce recipes.
