Join us for a meet and greet event with Monica Wasden, Monica is a Candidate for Douglas County Commissioner.
This is not an endorsement or a fundraising event, but an opportunity to ask questions and get to know Monica Wasden.
Monica Wasden is a 20-year resident of Douglas County. She has worked consistently though her business and volunteer efforts to make Douglas County a great place to live, work, and play. Monica builds lasting relationships, empowers others, and creates strong partnerships to further the needs and goals of our community.
For Monica, service to the community is paramount. She supports government that is limited, transparent and accountable. As our next County Commissioner, Monica will focus on ensuring the long-term financial stability, securing reusable water resources, and addressing transportation infrastructure needs throughout the county.
Friends and business associates know that Monica is a citizen first, not a politician. She has spent the majority of her career as a small business owner so she understands that government should be efficient, fair, and as minimally intrusive as possible. As a County Commissioner, she will work with the private sector to keep government out of the way in order to foster strong economic growth within our communities.
Her diverse volunteer community service and strong business experience make Monica the right choice to be our next Commissioner. Monica is running for the right reason, Monica is running to serve the residents of Douglas County.
