Lora Thomas is running for County Commissioner because her record of accomplishment and achievement make her the most qualified and experienced candidate in the race. As the County Coroner from 2011-2015, she improved services while the caseload increased by 45%. And, she slashed a bloated budget by 33%! Before becoming the Coroner, Lora had served with the Colorado State Patrol for 26 years, and retired as a Major. She was the first woman Captain and Major in the Patrol's history. Lora's community involvement includes the Public Issues Committee for the Highlands Ranch Community Association, Chairman of the Victim Compensation Board for the 18th Judicial District and the Men's Crisis Connection Castle Rock. Her experience along with a Finance degree and an MBA from Regis University make Lora Thomas The Right Choice for Douglas County Commissioner!
