Happiest Baby on the Block - Children's Hospital Colorado
Children's Hospital Colorado's "Happiest Baby on the Block" is a program designed to teach parents how to calm their crying baby in a matter of minutes. Techniques learned in this one-day class have been proven to help improve parental bonding, nursing success and prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome. Parents who have implemented the Happiest Baby on the Block and Kohl's Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention Campaign techniques have helped their little ones sleep an extra 1-2 hours per night!
This class is ideal for parents with children (ages newborn to 3 months old recommended), and are encouraged to bring their babies to class. Practicing on your own child builds confidence and enhances the learning experience. Parents will also be taught infant CPR at the end of class.
The cost is $40, and includes the Happiest Baby on the Block Parent Kit (DVD & CD) and a Friends and Family Infant CPR Kit.
