DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Officially Business is a series of briefings hosted by the Chamber throughout the year. Meet and hear from elected officials at the local\, state and federal levels. Ample time is given for questions and answers. \n\n\n\nThis month's speaker is State Representative Polly Lawrence\, who is running for Colorado Treasurer this year. Ms. Lawrence represents District 39 and has served in the Colorado House of Representatives since 2013. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Chamber sponsors a variety of community events and engages in legislative advocacy. While the Chamber historically has taken positions in support of or opposition to legislation or public policy\, it has not historically endorsed individual candidates. The Chamber sponsors events intended to encourage the flow of information from lawmakers\, policy makers\, and candidates for public office. In the case of the Meet-and-Greets hosted by the Chamber\, each was an opportunity for Chamber members to speak directly with you as a candidate\, ask any questions they may have\, and hear your position of the issues. These informational forums should not be interpreted as promotion or endorsement of individual campaigns. The Chamber's sole purpose is to assist in creating an informed electorate.
