The 113-year-old bowling alley was recently cleaned up and rehabilitated to allow visitors a unique peek into the past. Join us for the first public look at the one-lane alley that was originally built by owner John Springer in 1910. The bowling lane itself still shows the wear and tear of its history complete with missing planks and aged wooden ball returns but the entrance to the building is now open to welcome historic tour visitors. The Metro District partnered on this project with the Highlands Ranch Park & Recreation Foundation\, which enhances community projects and helps support historic preservation at the Mansion. The open house will be from 4-7 p.m. with a brief outdoor ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and self-guided tours of the Mansion.
