DESCRIPTION:The Douglas County Homeless Initiative (DCHI) values everyone in our community and uses a person-focused approach to balance compassion and public safety with the complex challenges of the unhoused.  DCHI utilizes a collaborative approach between the county\, law enforcement\, city council members\, mayors\, non-profit organizations\, and business owners to develop strategies that help address these challenges.  We focus on the possibility that comes with INITIATIVE among everyone working together under the "Four Cs":
